Miniature impressions of the past. A love of all things that were once grand at sometime to someone. Just littler. Lavande House.
Love the plant in the window! And, the view through the porthole window is wonderful! :D The little details (the hedgehog!!!) are perfect.

I can see the photos over and over again :)

This is gorgeous! I just want to curl up in that chair by the window with a good book or a piece of embroidery and while away the day. Judith x

ReplyDeleteTotally Gorgeous!!!! My fav favourite pics are the hedgehog and the shot thru the round window. And am in agreement with others - could just keep flicking through the pics over and over, even though I can go and see it in person! ;-)

How are you lighting it? Regular tape wiring or are you using something else?
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous and cozy, Carrie -- I want to visit! Also wanted to say thank you for the plates -- they arrived safely today and are even prettier in person!
ReplyDeleteNina - thank you and I'm so glad the plates arrived and you like them, thank you!! Alessandra - I use wire for lighting. I find it easier and cheaper. I score a channel in the wood, lay down the wire, cover it with masking tape and just stucco over the top. The wire isn't glued in etc so if a light fails I can replace it. Hope this helps!! Everyone else - thank yo for your comments. It means a great deal.
ReplyDeleteCarrie your work is absoloutly amazing!!! I love your beautiful house and the garden you've created!! And I adore that little hedgehog :0)
ReplyDeleteEverything is gorgeous!!

It's really wonderful, such a lovely 'ambience'. I see that you've mentioned removable wall and panel - I bought some tiny round magnets recently intending to do something similar and I've got floorboards held down with double sided scrapbooking tape just in case I need to access the wiring channel underneath - such a problem that in a mini house there's no 'crawl space' ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the hedgehog! Your whole blog is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLucy
